1: What are the accommodation options available at the retreat?
✈︎ Guests can choose between single or double occupancy rooms at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa. The rates are $1,597 per person for double occupancy and $2,497 for a single room. For those desiring ocean view rooms, an upgraded rate applies.
Q2: What amenities are included with my stay?
✈︎ Your stay includes access to high-speed wireless internet across the resort, use of the fitness center, chaise lounges at the pool and beach, towel service, daily coffee and tea in your room, internal resort shuttle transportation, and many more luxurious amenities designed to enhance your experience.
Q3: Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?
✈︎ Beyond the room rate, the resort fee is 22%, and there is an 11% government tax. Additional specific fees include a maid service charge of $2.50 per room per night, and porterage of $7.00 per person (one-time charge). All of this has been included in your package pricing.
Q4: What dining options are available at the resort?
✈︎ The resort features 10 restaurants and bars offering a range of culinary experiences from local Puerto Rican cuisine at Iguana’s Cocina Puertorriquena to international dishes at Palio Steakhouse & Seafood. There are options to satisfy every palate.
Q5: What recreational activities can I enjoy during the retreat?
✈︎ The Wyndham Grand Rio Mar provides two championship golf courses, a tennis center with 13 courts, a luxurious spa, and a casino. The resort also offers a variety of water sports and is located near attractions such as El Yunque Rainforest and a bioluminescent lagoon.
Q6: How far is the resort from the airport?
✈︎ The resort is approximately 19 miles from San Juan International Airport, which is about a 25-30 minute drive depending on traffic.
Q7: Can I book additional nights at the resort before or after the retreat?
✈︎ Yes, you can extend your stay at the resort. The group rate is valid 3 days pre and post the group dates, subject to availability. Please contact the resort directly to arrange your additional accommodations.
Q8: Are there any discounts available for retreat activities and amenities?
✈︎ Yes, guests of the CEO Skip Day Business Retreat will receive a 10% discount on golf, spa services, and tennis. Additionally, there is a 10% discount on 2024 banquet menu pricing.
Q9: What is the policy on refunds and transfers for the retreat?
✈︎ While we do not offer refunds, we understand that plans can change. If you are unable to attend the retreat after registering, you are welcome to transfer your reservation to another eligible CEO. Please inform us at least 14 days prior to the event to facilitate the transfer process efficiently
